She was predeceased by: her husband William McDermott; her children, Susan and Timothy; and her sister Carol Trettau. She is survived by: her children, Jean Marie Kodman (Paul), Ellen Fusco (Michael) and William; her grandchildren, Kelly (Jason), Paul, Summer, Heather, Julianna, Christian, Kaylee and Ethan; and her brother F. John Conlan. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sisters of Charity Development Fund at St. Elizabeth College, Convent Station would be appreciated, for instilling in Dorothea her gift of faith.
