He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude R. Plante and Claudette Plante; and his brothers, Richard, Daniel and Andre Plante.
He is survived by: his wife Milissa Plante of Caldwell; his stepson Lloyd Mitchell, Jr.; his sister Mary Plante of Holden, Maine; his sister-in-law Linda Plante; his nephew Ivan of Eustis, Florida; his siblings-in-law, John Parmentier of Fair Lawn and Ellen Parmentier of Boonton; and his pet Thor.
