Bonita F. Stanton D. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita F. Stanton D. (Caldwell, New Jersey), who passed away on January 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Stanton and Vivian Stanton (Brennan); her husband John D. Clemens; her daughters, Margaret Clemens and Rebecca; her son-in-law Dustin Bouverette; her grandchildren, Hunter, Griffin, Ainsley Mikel and Abigail Bouverette; and her siblings, Pamela Albertsen (Peter) and Kim Stanton (Pamela). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Dr. Stanton's leadership inspired the school's Vision and Mission, assembled a remarkable leadership team, partnered in the development of HMSOM's governance, secured accreditation from five separate institutions, established the school as an independent Institution of Higher Education, and pivoted the institution through a pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Bonita F. Stanton, M.D. Scholarship Fund.
