She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Pontrelli and Yolanda Pontrelli; her daughter Cheryl Makopoulos (John) of Moorestown, NJ; her grandsons, Evan and Alex; and her pet Buttons.

For family and friends who wish to make a contribution in memory of Barbara, her family has set up a special fund for the Oncology nurses at Clara Maass who treated her with love, respect and dignity throughout her journey.
