She was predeceased by: her parent John Swider; her spouse Joseph Carfagna; and her brothers, Milton Swider, Edward Swider, Edmond Swider, Chester Swider, Walter Swider and Frank Swider.
She is survived by: her parent Julia Swider (Szyganiec); her daughters, Joann Casale (Anthony), Joyce Van Zile (Michael) and Janice Van Zile; her husband Gilbert; her siblings, William Swider and Florence Pearce; her grandchildren, Lisa Casale, Anthony Casale, Scott Van Zile (Kelly) and Kyle Van Zile; and her great grandchildren, Zack Zile, Payton Zile and Reagan Van Zile.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
