Robert Margroff Obituary
Robert H. Margroff, 74, of Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Saturday March 21, 2015 at his home. He was born in Paterson, NJ. Robert resided in Ringwood, NJ from 1974 to 2001. Robert was a full time church member & choir member of the Ringwood Presbyterian Church in Ringwood. He lived in Butler, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ 9 years ago. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army. Robert was the past deacon and a member of the Pinelands Reformed Church in Toms River, NJ.
He was also a member of the Silver Ridge Park West Choral Group and the Toms River Sr. Softball League both of Toms River, NJ. Robert is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Jennie Margroff; a daughter Kathie Monson and a grandson Eric. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Monson; five sons Robert Margroff and his wife Karen of Sumter, SC, Kevin Margroff of Newton, NJ, Scott Margroff and his wife Diane of Henderson, NV, Patrick Margroff and his wife Melissa of Ringwood, NJ and Brett Monson of Riverdale, NJ; a daughter Bonnie Monson of TN; a sister Evelyn Holzmuller of Greenville, MA; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Thursday March 26, 2015 from 10am-2pm with a service at 1pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
