It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jonathan Dunleavy (Butler, New Jersey), born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Dunleavy and Alice Dunleavy; his wife Janet Dunleavy; his children, Katherine, Ryan, Emily and Sean; and his brothers, Mathew, Kevin and Christopher. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Morrison Funeral Home will be able to accept 25 people at a time wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and temperatures will be taken at the door.

Donations should be dropped off at 12 Walnut Street in Bloomingdale, NJ. Thank you and know your donation will go towards a cause that was close to Jon's heart.

“Words cannot express my grieve in knowing this man has left. I knew Jonathan in Middle School and High School. He was such an all around positive person. He left this Earth too early. When my son was born, we had settled on Jacob as his name, until the day he was born. I looked at my wife, and said, Jonathan is a good name, I've always known that to be strong positive name. And, we made that decision to name my boy Jonathan. My regret is that I never looked him as the years past.”
