He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna (Kaplun); his son John Kucher, Jr. of Butler; his granddaughter Jessica Gragnaniello (Salvatore) of Totowa; his great grandchild Ivan Gragnaniello; and his siblings, Vasily Kucher, Antonina Kucher of Ukraine and Anna Kucher of Russia.
