He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Cassata and Mattia Cassata (Scozzari); his wife Margaret Cassata (Vaccarello); and his son Joseph Anthony Cassata. He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Cassata; and his grandchildren, Joseph Cassata of Summerville, SC, Deanna Strausbaugh (Josh) of Frederick, MD and Christopher Lundy of Butler, NJ.. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (106 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405).
