Beverly R. Passanante Obituary

Beverly R. Passanante, age 76, of Butler, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Mrs. Passanante was born in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Abraham and the late Ruth (Maron) Katz.

She was an Accounting Administration Assistant for Ernst & Young in Secaucus, NJ for over 30 years and a member of the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church. Beverly loved to shop, enjoyed visits to the casinos, and loved to visit the Jersey shore.

She is survived by her beloved children, Carol Ann Passanante, John Passanante, Christopher Passanante, her daughter in law, Mary Ellen Passanante, and her loving brother, Barry D. Katz and his wife Sharon. Forever in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren, Robert Giardini and Madison Passanante. Family left to cherish her memory include her brother-in-law, Paul Mazur, dear nieces and nephews, Mark Katz, Sam Scuito, Barry Scuito, Deborah Midyett, Stacey Katz, Jason Katz, Justin Katz, and Lorianne Martling, her cousins, Judy Cohen and Elaine Samuelson, Goddaughter Dominique Hunt and many great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews. Also mourning her loss are many loving, caring and cherished friends. Beverly was predeceased by her devoted husband John, her daughter Audra and son Anthony, siblings, Shirley Ann LaCaillaide and Lora Lee Scuito and sister-in-law, Michele Mazur. Beverly touched the lives of many and her loss will be felt greatly by all of her family and friends.

Memorial visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, from 3-7pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. A funeral service will be offered on Tuesday at the funeral home at 6:00pm. All other services will be private.
