He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harding and Mary Harding; and his son Christopher Harding. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Harding; his sister Mary (Russell Kowal) of Woodbridge; his children, Lisa (Raymond Fronheiser), Charlene (Richard Bergstrom) and Robert (Dorothy Harding); his grandchildren, Nicole (John Deitrick), Sean (Taylor Bergstrom), Matthew (Kim Fronheiser), Andrew (Noelle Fronheiser), Dr. Carly Bergstrom-Rosellini (Michael Rosellini), Ryan Bergstrom, Alexandra Harding and Liam Harding; and his great grandchildren, Chloe and McKenna Deitrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
