Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Antonia Dirienzo of Burlington, New Jersey, born in Florence, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 104, on July 11, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Filipponi and Ester Filipponi; her daughter Mary DiRienzo; and her siblings, Agnes Buonanno, Pauline Carugno, Lena Filipponi, Robert and Nicholas Filipponi.
She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, James DiRienzo (Eileen), Jackie Murphy (Tom) and Nicholas DiRienzo (Jackie); her grandchildren, Colleen Ruffini (Chris), Joanne Scholeman (Karl), Jennifer Spivey (Tom), Mark DiRienzo (Maddalena), Carly DiRienzo, Matthew DiRienzo (Chrissy) and Ryan Murphy (Domenique); her great grandchildren, Jillian, Jacqueline Ruffini, Simon, Owen DiRienzo, Jordyn, Evan Merger, Veronica Spivey, Jack DiRienzo, Finn and Elin Murphy; her sister Mary Filipponi; and her sister-in-law Jane Campbell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in her memory be given to St. Katharine Drexel Parish where she spent her life devoted to God and the Church.
