She is survived by: her sister Kathleen Downs; her children, Floyd Lee Melton (Eilen Reinhardt), Alice Mary Melton (Paul W. Mitchell), Deborah Lynn Melton (Edward S. Klusman) and Diane Daisy Melton (late Bill Grover); her daughter-in-law Nadine Romaine; her grandchildren, Robert John, Richard Wayne, John Joseph, Jennifer Lynn, Linda, Susan, Lorena Lynn Melton, Paul W. Mitchell Jr., Jason, Dianna Mitchell, Edward S. Klusman Jr. and Mary Jane Klusman; her great grandchildren, Ashley, RJ, Cody, Paige, Brooke, Skyler, Riley, Hailey, Zenya, Carter, Scarlette, Sorelle, Holden, Tyler, Josh, Kalie, Elizabeth, Christina, Austin, Gabriel, Mackenzie, Madilynn, Macie, Mikayla, Vinnie, Luca, Sienna, Matthew, Peter, Mark, Ariel, Victoria, Caleb and Keegan; and her great great grandchildren, Maddox, Madie Jo, Marina, Macklin, Sofia and Robert III. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery. She had to endure the horror of 9/11 and a pandemic like none other in modern history.
