He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McAdams and Alice McAdams; his stepdaughter Natalie Egleston; his grandson Robert "Bobby" Cameron, Jr.; and his siblings, Marie "Ree" Queenan (Marty), Francis "Brud" McAdams (Laura), Alice "Cis" Gardner (Bill), James "Jim" McAdams (Lucienne), Theresa Green (Tom), Joseph "Joe" McAdams (Alyce) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ehresmann (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn "Gwen" Whitnell Egleston McAdams; his children, Monica Caffrey (Michael), Richard McAdams, Jr. (Yuko), June Cameron, Michael McAdams and Laureen "Reen" Letizio (Tom); and his stepchildren, Julie Graham (Bill) and Brian Egleston (Paul Roundtree). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Brightfocus Foundation, Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871-1952 would be appreciated by his family.
