He was predeceased by: his daughter Sylvia Mosijtschuk; and his stepchildren, Barry Tharp, Sr and Patricia Wilson. He is survived by: his spouse Mussetta Tharp; his daughter Helga Kuchinsky; his stepsons, Gary Tharp (Bonnie) and Donald Tharp, Sr. (Marianne); and his daughter-in-law Eileen Tharp. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
