He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Zappariello and Maria Zappariello (Cappuccio); his wife Acursia "Gus" Zappariello (Pendola); and his siblings, Anna Evangelista, Antoinette Lesczyznski, Frank Zappariello, Dominick Zappariello, Josephine Mannino, Margaret Masciarella and Marie Schenck.
He is survived by: his son Buena Borough Mayor; his daughter-in-law Stephanie; and his grandchildren, Alanna and Gennaro.
