She was predeceased by: her parents, Caroll VanDorp and Johanna VanDorp-Ypma; her husband Daniel Amianda; her brothers, Sjoerd VanDorp and Arthur VanDorp; and her nephews, James Etisi and Dr. Johnson Obedi Matuli.
She is survived by: her daughters, J. Alumasi "Masi" Amianda (Ian Cook) and Erica Ayiro Amianda; her stepchildren, Mark Amianda and Naomi Amianda; her grandchildren, Cameron Amianda, Lu Cook, Sinjin Etisi Amianda-Cook of Adam, Adam "AJ" Nix and Austin Nix; her brother Frans VanDorp (Tjitske); and her niece Kea Boot.
