He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Benson and Lydia Benson (Newman). He is survived by : his close friend William Ditrolio of Florida; his son Scott; his former life partner Barbara Benson of Middlesex; his brother James Benson; his niece Caroline Benson of Middlesex; and also Lida Clark of Bedminster.
