It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Thompson of Budd Lake, New Jersey, born in Oxford, New Jersey, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Metroke and Mary Metroke (Hozanitz); her husband Ralph; her son Danny Thompson; and her siblings, Mike, Andrew, Paul, George, Charlie, John, Mary, Julia, Ann and Helen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Ball DeMarco (Philip) and Melanie Thompson; her grandchildren, Daniel Ball, Reneé Prendergast (Yerodin) and Heather DeMarco; and her great grandchildren, Jade Ball, Ellie Prendergast and Callie Prendergast. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
