He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothea F. Bland; and his sons, William Bland and Antonio Bland. He is survived by: his children, Patricia S. Bland, Jerome M. Bland (Nancy) and Samantha J. Bland (Brian); his grandchild Jordan J. Bland; and his great grandchildren, Mason L. Johnson and Bella Mae Johnson.
