He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Savannah Wilburn (Troy) and RJ Steele; his brother Lindsay Steele; his mother Michele Steele; his grandsons, Dayton and Trenton Wilburn; his sisters-in-law, Dana Cameron (Andy), Malina and Marianne Kurth; his aunt Mildred; his uncle Joseph Myers; and his nephews, Derek Steele, John Kurth IV and Joseph Kurth, Jr..
