He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ransom; his sisters, Eleanor Ransom, Lily Jefferson of Washington and Mary Truehill of Washington; his children, Joan Marie Medina (Jorge Medina Robles), Kathleen Amelia Ransom, Shirley D. Young (Raymond), Lloyd Ransom, Jr. and Coco Chanel Wilson; and his aunts, Roberta Southall and Lucy Ransom. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
