He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Bargar; and his brother Gordon Bargar. He is survived by: his wife Abigail Bargar; his mother Lucille Bargar; his daughters, Courtney Brettell (Samuel) and Brenda Hawk (Michael); his brother Daniel Bargar (Linda); and his grandchildren, Joseph Hawk (Sarah), Guy Perryman, Anita Hawk and Keely Brettell.
