It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert S. Sliwa Sr. of Brooklawn, New Jersey, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Marie DelaCour; and his parents, Stanley Sliwa and Mary Sliwa. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne "Bonny" Sliwa; his son Robert S. Sliwa, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchild Hayden Sliwa; his siblings, Edward Sliwa and Rita Dzomba; and his sister-in-law Hazel. He is also survived by Brothers as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Brooklawn United Methodist Church, at the above church address.

“I had the pleasure of having Robert as a neighbor. I moved in next door to Bonnie and Robert two years ago. I will never forget Robert inviting me over one day for a hoagie and iced tea. He told me that when he saw me outside cutting grass and struggling in the summer heat, that he decided to go out and buy a sandwich for the both of us. We spent the afternoon talking about his beloved home and community. This is just one example of his kindness. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family.”
