It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Celeste Allen of Brigantine, New Jersey, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Frances (Clarke) and Albert Douglas Slade; her husband Walter E. Allen; and her children, Patricia Jones, Carolyn Martin, Lavonne Burr and Edwin Jones.

She is survived by: her sisters, Sallie Brathwaite (Osea) and Burley James; her children, Pamela Silver (Theodore), Laverne Jones, Penny Massiah, Irving Jones, Kim Allen, Eugenia Sanders (David), Desiree Allen and Iris Allen; and her sons-in-law, Charles Lemons and David Burr.
