She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Frances (Clarke) and Albert Douglas Slade; her husband Walter E. Allen; and her children, Patricia Jones, Carolyn Martin, Lavonne Burr and Edwin Jones.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sallie Brathwaite (Osea) and Burley James; her children, Pamela Silver (Theodore), Laverne Jones, Penny Massiah, Irving Jones, Kim Allen, Eugenia Sanders (David), Desiree Allen and Iris Allen; and her sons-in-law, Charles Lemons and David Burr.
