She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard J Dillon Jr.; her parents, Samuel Mathis and Mary Mathis; her sister Betty Jane; and her brother-in-law Frank Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bew (Gordon) of Brigantine, Bernard Dillon III (Michele) of Port Republic, Gayle Jones (Rod) and June Byrnes (Jim) of Linwood; her grandchildren, Melissa Knoff (John), Stacy McCarron (Matt), Nicholas Dillon (Katie), Jessica Weidman (Alex), Alexander Dillon (Adrienne), Julia Byrnes (Jack Wallace) and Jackson Byrnes; her great grandchildren, Mollie, Dillon Knoff, Devon, Matthew, Miles McCarron, Evan and Josie Dillon; her brother Sam; her sisters-in-law, Carole Mathis and Doris Weber; her stepgrandchildren, Mandi Craig (Ian), Brittany Pell (Chris), Ryan Jones, Brody, Liam, Bri Craig, Garrett, Cooper and Lucas Pell; and her caregivers, Maggie, Brittany and Carmen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cape Atlantic Marine Corps League or Court Appointed.
