He was predeceased by: his parents, Umberto Piermattei and Teverina Piermattei; his brother Joseph Piermattei; and his wife Vicki Piermattei. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Piermattei, Janet Factor (Robert) and Debbie Piermattei; his grandchildren, David Metague (Jeanine), Bobby Factor (Jess), Brandy Foster (Bob) and Stephany Piermattei; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jake, Kyra, Kevin, Madison, Jackson, Devin, Giana, Jonathan, Kaci and Reagan; and his friends, Ancona, Milan and NJ.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the services will be made available via a livestream webcast on Monday November 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm from Sacred Heart Cemetery, 119 N. Rt. 73, Cedar Brook, NJ 08018.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Algeo's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
