He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Tobin and Helen Tobin (Baker). He is survived by: his wife Theresa E. Tobin (Clyne); his children, Sean (Nicole) of Middletown and Ellen A. De Pinto (Nick) of Whitehouse Station, NJ.; his grandsons, James Tobin, Thomas Tobin, Nicholas De Pinto and Daniel De Pinto; and his siblings, Michael Tobin, Patrick Tobin and Karen Tobin McDonald.
