He is survived by: his wife Marie Sorrentino; his sons, Philip Maurer, Mark Maurer (Anabela) and John Maurer (Kim); and his grandchildren, Michael Maurer (Andrea), Megan Maurer, Matthew Maurer and Luke Maurer. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
