He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Granetz and Bertha Mezey Granetz; his brother Lester; his daughter Elyse; and his wife Sharon.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert, Marc (Kristine) and David; his grandchildren, Brian (Courtney), Rachel (Lee), Sarah (Matthew), Hailey (Jared), Matthew, Morgan and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Emma, Arthur and Sophie; and his brother Alan (Arlene). He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.
