She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Sweet and Blanche Sweet (Andrus); her sons, John Robert and David Lee; her husband William A.; her brother Ansell; and her daughter-in-law Robin Freeman (William).
She is survived by: her son S. Army; her siblings, Lawrence Sweet (Susan) of Fort Myers, FL and Lois Holmes of Jessup, GA; her sister-in-law Betty Sweet of Idaho Falls, ID; her son William E. Freeman of Tewksbury, NJ; her daughter-in-law Marla Freeman (David) of Port Washington, NY; and her granddaughters, Jackie Green, Nicole Eaton, Annette Koronowski, Erika Freeman and Dr. Andrea Freeman. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
