He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whalen and Leonora Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Valery Whalen; his sons, Daniel (Katie) of Bridgewater, NJ and Matthew Whalen of Bridgewater, NJ; his brothers, Tom (Linda) of Stone Mountain, GA and Robert Whalen of Langhorne, PA.; and his pets, Scout and Flint. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
