He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Connaghan (Kleman) and Bernard Connaghan; and his siblings, William, Rita, Jack and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra M. Connaghan (Seiler) of Bridgewater, NJ; his son Joseph Connaghan; and his brother Francis "Frank" Connaghan (Delia "Dee"). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews.
