He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick W. Farenga and Anna Farenga; his daughter Linda McFarland; his sister Rose Mondoro; and his brother-in-law John Mondoro.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Farenga; his children, Patrick J. Farenga (Grace) of Middletown and Laura Hettinger (Robert) of Helmetta; his son-in-law Dave McFarland; his grandchildren, Amanda and Bobby; and his great grandchild Robert.
