He was predeceased by: his parents, Nani Gopal and Jogmaya Lahiri; and his siblings, Tarun Lahiri, Jyotsna Bhaduri, Krishna Lahiri and Manju Lahiri.
He is survived by: his wife Sipra Lahiri; his sons, Devraj Lahiri (Mythili) and Ronobir Lahiri (Apinya Pokachaiyapat); his stepdaughters, Malini Majumdar (Russell Lomuscio) and Monica Liggio (Michael); his brothers, Manoj Lahiri and Malay Lahiri; and his grandchildren, Nikhil, Andrew, Neena, Kiran, Riya, Maya, Kai, Marco and Riku.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Dr. Mohanlal Lahiri's name to the Somerset Health Care Foundation in support of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
