He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dowd and Margaret Dowd; and his sister Mary Dowd. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Thomas Dowd (Melissa) of Allentown, PA, Caroline Higgins (David) of Bloomington, IN and Jennifer Bruner (Michael) of Whitehouse Station; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Brendan and Layna.
