She was predeceased by: her husband Earl B. Philhower; and her close friend Bill Hoffman. She is survived by: her children, Alice P. Hertzler (Timothy), William E. Philhower (Karen) and Susan P. Benitz (Richard); her grandchildren, Stephanie Farrell (Brian), Kevin Philhower (Chelsea), Afton Philhower, Christopher Benitz (Yukina) and Ryan Benitz; and her great grandchildren, Rowan and Daxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Reformed Church at Finderne, 581 Bridgewater Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
