It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maerene Schroedel of Bridgewater, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 22, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Marie Robinson and Blakeney Chittenden Trace; her husband Herman "Otto" Schroedel; her brother Wayne Althaus; and her grandson Junior.
She is survived by: her children, Renate Shotwell (Jeffrey) of Iowa, Grete Straube Flemington NJ (Eric) and Erica Rasmussen Bridgewater NJ (Eric); her grandchildren, Erin, Kyle, Ryan and Zachary; and her sister-in-law Irene Althaus.
