He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Scherp and Mary Scherp; his brother Bob Scherp; and his grandson Zachary Bunsa. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Pam Shannon of Alpharetta, GA, Donna Bunsa (Fred) of Basking Ridge, Barbara Ward (Paul) of New Providence and Ken Scherp (Lauren) of Southlake, TX.; his siblings, Roy Scherp (Betty) and Jackie Henry (Tom); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Lauren, Michael and Joe Shannon; his siblings, Andrew, Dallas, Grace, Ella Marie, Brody, Quinn Bunsa, Tyler, Samantha Ward, Colin, Aaron and Ryan Scherp; his great grandchildren, Ben and Emmett Bunsa; and his grandchildren, Augie, Wesley, Hugo Bunsa, Bethany and Isla Quense.
