With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Dorothy Risberg of Bridgewater, New Jersey, born in Middletown, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Nehring and Jeanette Thomas Nehring; her husband James A. Risberg (Jim); and her siblings, Arthur Nehring and Ethel Goetz.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill L. Risberg; her daughter-in-law Kristin M. Simmer; her grandchildren, Austin of Charlotte, NC. and Bronwyn Risberg-Simmer of Charlotte, NC.; and her nieces, Rev. Charlotte Wells of Pendleton, Karen Webb of Hackettstown, NJ and Eileen Carhart of Los Angeles, CA.
In lieu of flowers, since the cats will just eat them, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to Tabby's Place: a Cat Sanctuary in Ringoes, NJ.
