He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Irish; his sons, Jamie and Dan; his former wife Catherine Morris Edwards; his granddaughter Taylor Brophy; his wife Gloria Bigliano Frizzi Edwards; his children, Claudia Esker, Karen Brophy, Rudy Frizzi, Amy Small, James P. Edwards Jr., Patricia Lee and Daniel Edwards; his grandchildren, Olivia (Zachary Esker), Devon, Hannah (Sarah Brophy), Emilia, Giuliana (Clara Frizzi), Adam, Ryan, Jenny (Emma Small), Jordan Edwards (Leah Fitzpatrick), Caitlin (Sophia Lee) and Madeleine (Jacob Edwards); and also, Dominic Esker, Bill Brophy, Susan Frizzi and Chuck Lee. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McPherson College Automobile Restoration Program in his name.
