He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth, Jean, Nathan, Harry, Jack, Morris and Melvin.

He is survived by: his wife Sara Yvette Schwartz of Newark, NJ; his son Jay; and his grandchildren, Marcy Braco, Lori Egan, David Weiss (Penny), Julie Dunkle (Jason), Samantha Snyder (David), Jennifer Vialette (Gregor), Melissa Braco (Dennis McCarson) and Bryan Egan. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
