She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fithian Smith and Jean Alberta Reeves (Lyons); and her husband James T. Dowden. She is survived by: her children, Tara Anne Hoey (Brian) of Lopatcong Township, Erin Patricia Mullee (Martin) of Mendham, Megan Kerry Dowden of Bridgewater and James Patrick Dowden (Sarah) of Cohasset, MA.; her grandchildren, Sean Padraic, Kerry Anne, Colin Ryan Hoey, Jack Edward, Keira Catherine Mullee, Michael Colin, Patrick Joseph Carrete, Ryan Seamus, Rory Elizabeth, Claire Brigid and Owen Patrick Dowden; and her brother Lynn Lyons Smith (John Algard) of Cape May.
