He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnstone and Sarah Johnstone; his wife Delia; his brothers, John, James, Charles, Robert and Douglas; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Johnstone.
He is survived by: his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Tracy Johnstone; his granddaughters, Julia of Bridgewater, NJ. and Elizabeth of Bridgewater, NJ.; his brother Ronald; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Johnstone of Kearny, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
