He is survived by: his wife Conceicao Currais Cerqueira; his daughters, Alexandrina Cerqueira Mignone, Liana Currais Cerqueira and Andrea Cerqueira Emma; his grandchildren, Nina Marie Cerqueira, Evangeline Lillie Emma, Adeline Elise Emma and Amadeo Dante Mignone; his siblings, Rosa Goncalves Cerqueira, Manuel Cerqueira, Antonio Cerqueira, Jose Cerqueira, Tomas Cerqueira and Constantino Cerqueira; and his nieces and nephews, Maria, Lurdes, Carlos, Sergio, Pedro, Nancy, Cindy, Marco, Sonia, Rosa Maria, Christopher, Andrew and Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mount Church (170 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery (899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
