She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Christel and Gertrude Christel; and her husband Peter Slagus, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Donar (Robert), Carol O'Neil (Mark), ELizabeth Slagus (Paul Caro) and Mark Slagus (Joan); and her grandchildren, Katie O'Neil, Adam O'Neil (Jennifer), Zach Slagus, Beau Slagus, Christopher O'Neil (Morgan) and Molly O'Neil.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
