She was predeceased by: her parents, Leola Fordham Rozier and Walter L. Rozier; her children, Herman L. Griffin, Willia M. Donaldson (Maddox), Elmarie Thomas (Maddox), Bettye Griffin-Staples (Griffin) and Geneva Griffin; her stepchildren, Janice Price, Kathleen Johnson and James Randazzo; her siblings, Claude Rozier, Leonard Owens, Walter Rozier Jr. and Ruby Braziel; her grandchildren, Curtis Donaldson III, Dwayne Robinson, Joshua Smith, Raymond Allen, Tara Robinson and Chardae'Donaldson; and her close friend Rosie May Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacquetta Rawls (Kenneth) of Sicklerville and Shari Gullatt of Detroit; her sister Ola M. Scott; her sisters-in-law, Viola Rozier, Barbara Jane Johnson, Roberta Rozier and Ceolies Redding (Joy); her godchildren, Danny Bell Bryant and Kim Jamieson; and her caregiver Desa Williams. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater St. Augustine AME Zion Church (410 N Pearl St, Bridgeton, NJ 08302).
