He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie May; his uncle Roosevelt Wingo; and his stepparents, Alphonso Brooks and Emma Jean Brooks. He is survived by: his aunt Mattie Lane Wingo; his wife Mozelle Lynn Lane (Mosey); his children, Wanda Hill (Erick) of Raleigh, NC, Tammy Rolle Townsend (Ramon), Christy Lane Johnson of Bridgeton and William Lane of Lansdale, PA; and his grandchildren, Anthony Tyrell Lane, Hope Elizabeth Johnson, Faith Marie Johnson and Layla Michelle Rolle. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Temple (30 M. L. K. Jr Wy, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Overlook Cemetery.
