She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Smith; her parents, Alfred Schmidt and Marion Ledden Schmidt; her daughter Kristine Smith; and her siblings, Alfred Schmidt, Jr., Helen Shockley and Dorothy Allman.
She is survived by: her children, Denise McDermott of Stow Creek, Karen Allen (James) of Fairfield Township, Dennis Smith (Janet) of Mays Landing and Steven Smith (Janet); and her sister Betty Cain. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett Fuenral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302).
