He was predeceased by: his parents, James Couch and Esther Rempfer Couch; and his brother Billy Couch. He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Couch Jr. of Millville and Laura C. Couch of Bridgeton; his caregiver Marge Couch of Bridgeton; his siblings, John Couch (Valerie) of Laurel Lake, Tim Couch (Kim) of Millville, James E. Couch and Holly Carmen (Steve) of Naples, FL; and his uncle Danny Rempfer of Hopewell. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
